Description: Simple Presence is an invitation to a way of seeing things differently in a traumatized world of fragmentation and insecurity; to remember who we are really; and to not be afraid. In real life, Simple Presence evokes energy that is beyond words, that flows between any number of worlds of perception; transforming the experience of difference into an experience of no boundaries, no separation.
Why this book now? Simple Presence is a call and answer both to the question of how to live through times of accelerated change. Nothing is certain. Do we adapt to the magnitude of world crisis from fear and a feeling of helplessness or an intention for peace? What can restore our sense of power within?
It is the only thing we count on. It is in presence that we can feel safe.
Endorsements: "Kati has written a book that demonstrates her life’s intention… on a parallel with The Practice of the Presence of God, by Brother Lawrence" –Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi
"In sharing her experience, Kati Pressman shows us who we all are, for what is possible for one is possible for us all. She simply chooses again and again to bring herself to her experience as it is happening, in a way that allows that experience to be a doorway for the moment to reveal its full face. She finds peace and absolute safety by being present." – Dr. Martin Weiner
